FAQ

If you are disappointed, speak directly with the tutor and see if a resolution can be reached (we can't know that we're not meeting your needs if you don't tell us!).

Students may withdraw with a prorated refund before the fourth class.  No refunds are given after the fourth class.

What if I'm unhappy with a class or a tutor doesn't meet my expectations?

Enrichment classes meet during regular school hours, so those are available only to homeschoolers.

Private and group tutoring can be arranged for after-school hours, and we would LOVE to help you!!  We love "connecting" ALL students with resources they need to succeed.

Is Connections just for homeschoolers?

No.  Grades and transcripts are the sole responsibility of the homeschooling parent.  Tutors will generally provide evaluations of assignments.  There should be enough information and detail included for the parent to use to help determine the final grade.

Transcript and curriculum consultation are happily provided at no additional charge to registered students.  A fee may apply for services to students not registered in enrichment classes.

My highschooler is taking your class; will you provide a final grade and a transcript?
What if my student has a free period?  What about lunch?  Recess?

Ideally, students should be dropped off just for their class and picked up promptly after.  However, if siblings are enrolled in consecutive classes and multiple drop-off and pick-up times pose an inconvenience, arrangements may be made for the waiting sibling to have a quiet reading and study area.

Please note there is not space available for parents and non-enrolled siblings to wait during classes.

Students may eat lunch or a snack during class.  Please do not send items that need to be refrigerated or microwaved.

Classes are designated by age, not by grade, and it is not advisable to enroll students younger than the designated age.

My child is three grade levels ahead; may I sign him or her up for a high school class?

We want to help you start, continue, and succeed in homeschooling and we will be delighted to connect you with the information you need to get started.
